New releases!

There are so many new releases this week, I can hardly keep track!!!  But I am very excited about them...

The first in a new Victorian series, Flora Flowerdew and the Mystery of the Duke's Diamonds.  This one was a long time in the making, inspired by a friend's very adorable and rather uncanny Pomeranian puppy!  And Flora is one of my very favorite heroines to meet, er, write.  Fun, stubborn, smart, independent, stylish...

London 1888

Flora Flowerdew has a secret. The former Florrie Gubbins, music hall dancer, is now Madame Flowerdew, one of London’s most renowned spirit mediums. But it’s actually her beloved Pomeranian dog, Chou-Chou, who can see the ghosts.

One of her most lucrative seances, for the wealthy Petrie family whose daughter is about to marry a handsome young duke, goes chaotically awry. The duke’s late, and very irate, grandfather demands Flora and his grandson Benedict find the long-missing family diamonds—even the search becomes littered with mayhem and murder! Can Flora discover the jewels before she loses her career, her sanity—and her heart?

Sparks fly as Flora, Benedict, and Chou-Chou pursue the truth of the diamonds’ disappearance in this lighthearted, cozy historical mystery set in foggy, gas-lit London

"This is a first in an exciting new whodunit series of mysteries, and what an enjoyable introduction to Flora Flowerdew and her world it is! During their investigation, many things transpire, and it doesn't help that she develops feelings for the man who is so far above her in station. There are plenty of twists in this fast-paced, engaging tale, especially when our feisty heroine uncovers some long-buried secrets in the duke's family. Meanwhile, Benedict has his own decisions to make about his future, as does his intended bride, Maud.
Flora Flowerdew and the Mystery of the Duke's Diamonds is a delightful, light-hearted historical mystery with a clever heroine and a fair, level-headed hero. It's well worth reading.
I'm looking forward to more instalments in this exciting new series."
Ruins and Reading Reviews

The next is a re-issue, and I love seeing this book get a new lease on life! The first in my "Daughters of Erin" trilogy about 3 sisters set around the events of 1797, it's loosely based on some of my own family lore, and a lovely friends-to enemies-to lovers tale. (it was a RITA Nominee for Best Historical back in it's first day...) Look for other two titles in the coming months!

As children, Eliza Blacknall and William Denton ran wild over the fields of southern Ireland and swore they would be friends forever. Then fate took Will away to England, while Eliza stayed behind to become a proper Irish countess.

Years later, Will finally makes his way home-as an English soldier sent to crush the Irish uprising. When he spies the lovely Eliza, he is captivated by the passionate woman she has become. But Eliza's passions have led her to join the Irish rebel cause, and Will and Eliza now find themselves on opposite sides of a dangerous conflict.

When Ireland explodes in bloody rebellion, Will's regiment is ordered to the front lines, and he is forced to choose between his duty to the English king and his love for Eliza and their Irish homeland.

Last of all, two pre-orders!!!  If you're in the mood for a Christmas tale, my dear friend Kathy L Wheeler and I have our Gaming Hell Christmas: Volume Two !!!  It was so much fun to write these tales together, the scandalous debs of Miss Greensley's School for the the Comportment of Proper Young Ladies, and the newest, most exclusive club in Town...where they all find love and danger and mistletoe....

Last of all, a book that is very special to me, as it combines three of my very favorite things--Paris and jazz music and the 1920s! No cover yet, but it will be out in March 2023, and I hope you love Jack and Rose as much as I did...

Whew!!! That's it for now. Watch this space for a new giveaway this week, and I am hoping to get back to my Heroine of the weekend posts very soon, they were so much fun to research...

Happy September, everyone!
